Estates Housing Officer required for a housing provider in Birmingham contract available for two to three months and may be extended.

Ideally you will have worked within a housing provider and have good IT skills including Microsoft packages.

To effectively manage the public open space areas on the Estate through regular inspections, liaison with village Landscapes, and the organisation of maintenance and contractors as appropriate.
To contribute to the operation of an effective Development Control Policy on the Estate by processing minor and major alteration applications, ensuring compliance with the design guide and carrying out property inspections as appropriate.
To attend resident meetings onsite in order to resolve disputes.
To inspect annually, all Trust owned land for Health and Safety and Public Liability Insurance purposes. Liaise with contractors to ensure that repairs and defects identified during the Health and Safety inspections, are completed in a timely manner and are completed to an adequate standard.
To assist in the development of a rolling programme of improvements for the hard landscape infrastructure of the Estate, and identify and implement special projects relating to the infrastructure.
