Building Surveyor

Current vacancy for a Building Surveyor to work on commercial / education buildings for a local authority.

The role will involve overseeing minor works and maintenance programmes.

Duties will include,

  • Building condition surveys
  • Taking a brief and issue tender documents
  • Appoint and manage contractors
  • Working as part of wider property function and working to delivery key projects
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Arranging repair works related to fire and flood damage
  • Working knowledge of building and fire regulations.
