Registered Manager

Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager

Salary: £42,000 per annum, plus performance related bonus of up to a further £4800 per year

Contracted Hours: Full Time

Location: Burton-On- Trent

 

Moore Green Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a Children’s Residential Care provider to recruit for a Registered Manager to support a newly opening service.

This is a permanent opportunity with a newly established Children’s Residential Care provider that is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children and young people. Through compassionate care, individualised attention, and comprehensive support, they aim to create a loving home where every child feels valued, respected, and equipped with the tools to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be registered with Ofsted as a suitable manager for one residential home and to fully comply with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and deliver the Quality Standards for Children’s Homes.
  • To deliver high standards, aim for ‘outstanding’ provision at all times.
  • Be an advocate for young people and ensure they receive services they require.
  • To be responsible for the management, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people referred and/or accommodated within the home.
  • To promote the practice of working in partnership with young people, their families, other staff, and other agencies, in order to meet the needs of young people.

 

About you:

  • You will be a passionate and forward-thinking individual with strong people management skills
  • You will have experience in a registered or deputy manager
  • Have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services, or be willing to work towards
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including OFSTED requirements.

 

An Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment polices and procedures for all employees.
