Repairs Maintenance Surveyor

Provide technical support in the delivery and development of repairs and maintenance services for Maintenance Operations.

Plan, organise and undertake pre- and post-inspections and the preparation of schedules of works using relevant NHF Schedule of Rates relating to responsive and voids works.

Effectively supervise and co-ordinate the work of internal and external contractors, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with specifications, legislation, relevant codes of practice and customer requirements.

Undertake inspections relating to Health & Safety issues, noting any deviation from regulatory or legislative requirements or construction standards, and apply HHSRS principles.

Identify major, complex, structural, safeguarding or compliance issues and refer to appropriate team.

Ideally you will have a HNC in Building and have worked within a social housing setting.

The role is interim to start with and would be looking to go permanent salary circa £33 - £37k.
